Apple introduced two new iPads this month at a special event in San Francisco on October 22, and the first of those to go on sale is the iPad Air, which is in stores and on virtual shelves this Friday, November 1.
Apple’s iPad Air is now available for purchase in the U.S. and other countries, including Australia, China, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Japan. You can get the iPad Air from Apple’s online store, or pick it up yourself in an Apple Store, starting 8AM EST today.
The stunning Retina display sits inside thinner bezels, so all you see is your content. And an incredible amount of power lies inside the sleek enclosure. So you can do so much more. With so much less.
The design is the star of Apple’s iPad Air refresh this time around; the 9.7-inch Apple tablet has had the same form factor for two generations now, and that one actually made the design worse – it got heavier, and it got thicker. Have something to add to this story? Share it in the comments.
